The Georgia Trust for Local News is a community newspaper company that serves Middle and South Georgia. We are dedicated to strengthening community newspapers across our state, fostering local engagement, and building stronger, more connected communities. The Georgia Trust for Local News is a subsidiary of the National Trust for Local News (NTLN), a nonprofit committed to conserving, transforming and sustaining vibrant, sustainable community news enterprises across the country.

The Georgia Trust for Local News believes that a well-informed community is the bedrock of a vibrant and connected society. Our mission is to empower the residents of Georgia through dedicated community journalism that is impartial, timely and relevant. Our newspapers celebrate the uniqueness of Georgia communities, highlight local issues and achievements, and inform civic participation. Our approach is rooted in a belief in the power of community news to strengthen the connections between people and the places they live.
